How it works......
Each year TEECH travel to Romania and Moldova to hand deliver shoebox gifts and food parcels. If you would like to read about our previous trips, then hover over 'Christmas Shoebox Trips' in the menu on the left and choose which year you would like to read about. What to do......
- Find an empty shoebox
- Wrap the box and lid separately (if boxes can be opened then this helps us in case they need to be checked by customs)
- Decide if your box will be for a boy or girl and the age (please ensure a label is placed on the box so we allocate the box to a suitable child)
- Fill your box with gifts - see suggestions list below
- Make a donation of £2 per shoebox - we use the monies to pay for ferry, fuel and road tolls to get the vehicles to their destination - the donation can be done through Wonderful - this is important to ensure the charity can fund the trip
We ask that you place one of our labels onto the box (stick or celotape, we dont mind) and circle the age you have made a box for. Download the labels here:

Suggestions of gifts for your shoebox.....
Toys - soft toys, balls, yoyo, skipping rope, building blocks, playing cards, jigsaws, musical instruments, toy cars, dolls, jewellery, balloons, playing cards etc
Educational Items - pens, pencils, pencil sharpener, paper, colouring and/or puzzle books, pencil case, ruler, rubber, stickers, solar calculator etc
Personal Items - toothbrush (periuta de dinti) and paste (pastă de dinţi), shampoo (sampon), maybe consider bar shampoo, deodorant, sanitary products, hairbrush, comb, shower gel, soap (sapun), flannel etc
Other - socks, scarf, gloves, hat, sweets, wind up torch, football shirt, shorts (small clothing items so that there is a mixture in the box).
