december 2021 newsletter
christmas trip preparations and thanks
The last couple of months has been very busy for TEECH volunteers and many of you, getting together to make up shoebox gifts to take over to Moldova later in December.
A team of 11 volunteers will make the journey across Europe, taking 2 lorries and the charities van, loaded with shoebox gifts, food parcels and some medical aid (wheelchairs/walking frames etc). The aim of taking the medical items is to deliver to hospitals, which was not possible earlier in the year due to lack of transport space. Since TEECH did not travel in the summer of 2020 there are items of aid the charity would like to get to those who need them this time around. The team will be visiting 8 schools to handout shoeboxes to the children and have approx. 1,300 boxes to take 😊
We would like to thank the following for their support, monetary donations and shoeboxes:
Photos and an account of the trip will be put onto the website during in January, so please look out for that, so you can see where your kindness and support has benefited others.

clothing donations
If you have clothing to donate, then please now hang onto it until the new year before passing it on. If you have gathered clothing from others, then please ensure it is clean and in good condition because we do not have an outlet for clothing which we can’t donate. All clothing will go into the free shop in the summer for volunteers to hand out to locals, therefore the clothing needs to be in a good condition to pass on.
Please also remember that we can not take large plastic toys to Romania or Moldova.
Thanks
