christmas - shoebox planning
TEECH are now planning and preparing for a trip to the Republic of Moldova at Christmas. The aim is to travel across Europe to hand deliver shoebox gifts and some food parcels over a period of two weeks.
As we prepare, we ask for you to get in touch if you would like to support the trip by making up shoebox gifts. At least 6 schools/villages will be visited and we have the list of children at those locations, therefore hope to split those lists and direct you to complete certain boxes (ages/boys/girls), to ensure we have the ones required.
Information on how to complete a box and ideas of what to pop inside them can be found by clicking here.
We ask for boxes by the 12th November if possible, to allow the team time to sort them by location, complete customs paperwork and load the lorry. Please keep us informed when you know your boxes are ready to drop off.

Funding is required to help transport the boxes to Moldova, therefore please consider donating a few pounds, as every donation does count :-)

apple picking to raise funds
A team of 17 volunteers spent a day apple picking at William Norman and Son Ltd in Cambridgeshire, to raise funds for TEECH. The weather was on their side, with a nice dry day, for the 9 hours of picking, filling 38 large wooden crates, to raise £850. The funds will be put towards the TEECH Christmas trip, to help fund the transport of the lorry to take shoebox gifts to Moldova.
TEECH would like to thank all volunteers for giving up their weekend to come along and pick. It was hard work but a good time was had by all.
TEECH would also like to thank the Leach's for allowing the group to come and pick on their farm for the day.
