thank youWe start this months news with a huge thank you and massive congratulations to Chris and Barry who challenged themselves to the Devizes to Westminster, 125 miles canoe race. The race took place at Easter and both Chris and Barry have raised over £2,000 for TEECH, which will go towards this summers bathroom projects in the villages of Mindresti Noi and Sloveanca, Moldova.
The race took 26 hours and 22 minutes, travelling overnight with a support crew, including negotiating low bridges and numerous locks. |

teech & uk aid deliveries to ukraine
TEECH, along with UK Aid, Felsted took 2 lorries and 2 vans of aid into the Ukraine during February. Some photos from the trip can be viewed here.
A further aid drop is just being completed in May, taking aid collected by another charity in Colchester, Essex. TEECH are providing the drivers, lorry and van to ensure the aid is delivered into the Ukraine, at the town of Kamianske. A couple of photos can be seen below.

moving to harwich.......
As mentioned in the February news, TEECH are in the process of packing to move, with the charity moving the storage of aid to Harwich, Essex by the end of June. On Saturday 13th May volunteers are getting together to make water tight a number of portacabins which will be the main sorting hub for TEECH for the time being. Thank you goes to Martyn at J Gard & Sons Ltd, for the donation of timbers and plywood.
TEECH require good quality clothing to take out to Moldova in August, so are collecting this between now and the middle of July, so we then have time to sort, box and load it. If you have clothing to donate then please get it through to us as soon as possible. Clothing for men, women and children all required.
