christmas 2022 shoebox appeal
As 2022 comes to a close, TEECH would like to say a huge thank you to all those who continue to support the charity and have been helping all year round, with donations and/or trips, of which there have been many. It has been TEECH's busiest year, with two extra trips to take aid in support of Ukrainian people currently residing in Moldova.
The next team of volunteers are ready to leave on Boxing day, to make the trip over to Moldova with over 1,200 shoebox gifts and many tonnes of food parcels, which will be distributed to over 9 locations.
Thank you goes to those making this trip possible:
Thank you to all those volunteers who came along many a time, to help us sort everything out for the Christmas trip and load the lorry and vans.
Pictures and a newsletter will be done in January, so you can all see where your gifts have been delivered to.

As mentioned in last months newsletter, TEECH are in partnership with Harwich Cultural and Community Projects and UK-Aid, Felsted, to support a charity shop, being run by HCCP in the high street in Dovercourt, Harwich. The shop is now open and good quality clothing is required. If you are able to donate, then monies raised with be shared three ways between the charities to help sustain their activities, to achieve their goals. If you are local, see the picture for contact details if you are able to take items direct to donate.
Storage and parking
TEECH are on the move…………
Disappointingly BT have given TEECH the boot from our current storage and parking in Colchester, Essex. Volunteers will be working hard in the new year to find alternative arrangements, plus sort and pack everything we currently have so it can be moved. Hopefully we’ll see local volunteers in the new year to help with this mammoth task, to get organised and get out of the site. If you know of any storage (or can spread the word) in the North Essex area, then get in touch. Ideally TEECH need free storage otherwise the pressure is increased to raise more funds.
