DECEMBER 2020 newsletter
2020 christmas shoebox appeal
The shoeboxes have arrived, the sorting has been completed and the vehicles loaded.
As you will all know from prior newsletters, TEECH has been preparing to send a small team of volunteers over to Romania and Moldova this Christmas to deliver gifts and support families. Everything is ready to go, therefore we hope that the virus and any changing travel restrictions will not delay the team over the coming weeks. Over 750 shoeboxes have been collected and will be delivered to:
Huge thanks goes to all those who took the time to make up & deliver shoeboxes. Thank you to:

donations
Throughout 2020 TEECH has continued to received clothing donations, with sorting and boxing occurring in gardens and garages. Of the clothing received, a lot is ladies, with mens, boys and girls all considerably less, therefore please consider donating clothing for children once we get into 2021, ready for next summer. If you have clothing to donate, then get in touch and we can work out a way to pass it through to us in Essex.
Please note: TEECH are no longer able to accept large or bulky medical aids. The charity will still take foldable wheelchairs, walking sticks, crutches but not walking frames, zimmer frames, commodes because they are too bulky to store and transport.
Once the UK has left the EU then the charity will no longer be able to take used shoes either, as these can not be imported into Moldova and delivering aid to Romania would require customs clearance which is not possible.
