Volunteers Staci and Joe Croxton are supporting their son Cillian to raise funds for TEECH. Cillian is cycling 100km and is doing an amazing job. If you would like to provide some support and see his progress, please visit his fundraising page:

2020 christmas shoebox appeal
As mentioned last month, TEECH hopes to travel to Romania and Moldova at Christmas time, to hand deliver food parcels and shoebox gifts. Logistics and the pandemic might cause issues, but we would like to plan a small trip to visit at least three schools and villages. It will also provide an opportunity for the charity to look at new schools and options for bathroom projects for 2021.
Some of you have already been in touch, which is great, offering to do shoeboxes. If you would like to make up a shoebox or more, then please get in touch so we can allocate gender and age of the boxes we require, this way we can ensure the charity has enough for the schools we aim to reach. All boxes would need to be completed and with the charity early December.
To find ideas of items to place into boxes, then see our shoebox page. This year teenage boxes can include reusable face coverings, hand gel, soup etc. TEECH spoke to the UK Embassy in Moldova during August and they raised the point, that face coverings are available in Moldova but some families will struggle to afford to purchase them. TEECH will be taking some to hand out also.
We now have a fundraising page set up for the Christmas trip, with the aim to raise funds to cover some of the transport costs. The charity does have approx. £1,000 from the summer project fundraising, which will go towards Christmas, which is fantastic.

clothing donations
Throughout 2020 TEECH has continued to received clothing donations, with sorting and boxing occurring in gardens and garages. Of the clothing received, 35% are ladies, with mens, boys and girls all less than 15% each, therefore please consider donating clothing for children over the coming months and into 2021 ready for next summer. If you have clothing to donate, then get in touch and we can work out a way to pass it through to us in Essex.
Donations through Golden Giving
Please be advised of the fees charged when donating using the Golden Giving platform. Please, where possible used a Debit card, as the cheapest option and avoid using PayPal.
