Deliveries into Ukraine 2023
chernihiv, February 2023
At the end of February 2023 a small team of drivers travelled with sister charity UK-Aid, Felstead into the Ukraine to deliver aid. The team travelled across Europe over a two day period, reaching the border with Ukraine, to then start the 2 day journey to their destination of Chernihiv, east of Kviv. The aid was in the form of food, generators, clothing, and much more!
Aid would be delivered to the Revival Centre, and from there distributed by the centre staff over the following weeks.
The pictures below show some of the country following the bombing and fighting which has been taking place for over a year.
TEECH received the following email from the Centre on return to England:
Let me once again sincerely thank your powerful team for the delivery of humanitarian aid. Our specialists who are responsible for the recording, keeping and distribution of aid confirm its high quality and have started distributing it to low-income families with many children, people with disabilities, children from large families. It is very important to choose everything according to the age. Your volunteers will remember how happy were the children of the fallen soldier, when all seven children have put on your gifts. The food is already received by social and medical institutions, as well as many people in need. We are very happy that together with you we can do good for those who need help. The Centre works normally, unfortunately, the rehabilitation process is often interrupted by an air alarm signal, all the children go down to the shelter. We really hope that with the help of all democratic countries, Ukraine will win. We are especially grateful to Great Britain, which provides the most modern weapons to defeat the rashists.
With love and gratitude,
Vasyl Natalya, all the staff of "Revival"
