baccealia project
The bathroom creation at the school in Baccealia is was carried out in July and August of 2020.
TEECH would like to thank Romeo, Elena the Director and the Mayor of Baccealia, for working together as a strong team to make it all possible, whilst TEECH volunteers themselves could not visit. TEECH would also like to say a huge thank you to all those who donated to the project, meaning it was fully funded.
Romeo's email on completion stated:
I officially inform you that today on Independence Day of Moldova, the TEECH bathroom project in the school of Baccealia has been successfully completed.
It was a great honour for me and my team to implement this essential and useful project on behalf of TEECH and cooperate with the local authorities. Mayor, school director and the entire community are thankful to TEECH and all sponsors who contributed to this wonderful project. Generations of pupils will use and benefit the new and modern bathrooms.

Sergiu, who past volunteers will have met on many summer projects, joined the team to add murals to the walls, adding in the flags of the countries where volunteers would have come from if the team had ventured over to Moldova.
