newsletter APRIL 2018
summer project progress
As mentioned in the March newsletter a team of volunteers will be travelling to the villages of Hăsnășenii Noi and Lazo in the northern district of Drochia, Moldova in August. The aim of the project is to install bathrooms into the school and provide the villagers with aid, including clothing, wheelchairs and walking aids.
We have been very lucky and now have over 30 wheelchairs, and over 50 walking/zimmer frames therefore we probably don't require any more of these for this particular trip.
We continue to look for good quality clothing donations for children (we have been lucky enough to receive a lot of womens clothes and even quite a bit for men!).
Ideally we would like to pack clothing into banana boxes, therefore if you are able to obtain some of these and can get them to us in Colchester, Essex that would be ideal. Send your donations through in them!
We are also looking for hospital curtains following a request from the psychiatric hospital in Balti, latex gloves and a childen's car booster seat for a family in Romania. As mentioned last month we require large vacuum pack bags as we have alot of duvets to pack therefore if you come across any please send them our way!
If you would like to make any donations then please ensure they are sent through from now until the end of May.
