the christmas shoebox appeal
The TEECH Christmas Shoebox appeal is in full swing, with the aim of having 1,700 shoeboxes to take to various locations across Romania and Moldova. A small team will travel overland to hand deliver the parcels, therefore we can guarantee they will be received by those who need a little extra at Christmas and pop a smile of a few faces.
As you can imagine, it takes a while to sort all the boxes by location ready for loading in December, therefore we ask for boxes to be with us as soon as you can. Its never too early to start doing them and sending them through. Ideally all boxes would be with us by the end of November or if you are local to our stores in Essex, early December. If you send boxes through BT then please drop them off by the end of November.
Thanks to those who have been in touch already to let us know boxes are in progress. If you plan on doing a few boxes (or lots) then please get in touch so we can start to gauge numbers as this helps with our planning.

packing boxes needed
As mentioned last month, we are now short of boxes to pack aid into (clothing etc) therefore if you know of a source of decent boxes please get in touch. Boxes need to be small to medium sized so that once full they are not too heavy to move about. We also require good quality packing tape. Thanks

There will be a pack and sort day on 11th November, when hopefully some shoeboxes will have arrived to sort into delivery locations.
