the shoebox appeal
Last month we launched the Christmas Shoebox Appeal. We'd like to thank those who have been in touch and are busy completing boxes. THANK YOU.
If you are thinking of doing a box or two then please let us know as we are now planning which schools, families and villages to visit, therefore we would like to gauge the numbers of boxes if we can. Please spread the word and encourage friends, family or colleagues to also complete boxes.
This year we ask that boxes are sent through earlier as we will be sorting by location in November and early December ready to load the lorry. Please send boxes through by the end of November if at all possible.

For all the instructions on completing a box, please download the poster below. We hope this will be useful to spread the word. The instructions are also on the website.
If you would like to identify your box in photos, when we pop them onto the website in January, then make your box identifiable with your name or school.
The deadline for boxes to be dropped at BT depots is Friday 9th December.
Many Thanks in advance.

playpen
We have had a request from a family in Romania which TEECH has been supporting for many years. They wondered whether the charity could take (at Christmas) a play pen for a disabled 10 year old boy in their village. If you know of a good source for us to purchase one or where we could maybe obtain one second hand please get in touch.
Many Thanks

incontinence pads
Following last months request for incontinence pads, for the elderly in Moldova, we have had a good response.
Keep them coming if you can as we will continue to take supplies on each trip if we can.

dvlc donates to teech once again
Thanks goes to the DVLC Scooter club of Colchester for continuing to support TEECH. The club have just donated £500 to help with the Christmas Trip which is hugely appreciated. The trip tries to cover costs using the £1 per box, which is asked for with shoeboxes but the cost of fuel and road tolls can mount up so all donations are really welcome.
