Christmas Shoebox Appeal
Firstly, this month we would like to ask you all to consider doing shoebox gifts ready for the Christmas deliveries to Moldova. The team is aiming to take over 760 shoeboxes to hand deliver, at the end of December, for at least 6 villages (for the kindergartens and main schools).
If you would like to do shoeboxes, then please see our poster on instructions which is within the shoebox information page, click here.
We ideally need all the boxes by mid November, because it takes a couple of weeks to sort them, and allocate them to each school, then the lorry is loaded early December. Please let us know if you are doing boxes, how many, and the age/gender, so we can allocate them to a school, or better still, drop us an email and we will let you know what age/gender is required.

Thank you to everyone for fundraising this month
October has been a busy month for fundraising, with an Apple picking day early in the month, raising £750. TEECH would like to thank Sam, Sue and Fred of Norman & Sons for allowing the team to pick apples on their farm in Cambridgeshire. A couple of photos can be seen on this page. TEECH would also like to thank the team of 18 who took the time to come along, work hard and make it a real team effort.
Past volunteers Gel & Alan, held a coffee morning, cake and tabletop sale, raising £710 for TEECH. Huge thanks to them and all residents of Howard Vyse Court.
Mary and Les Rothwell have been working hard during 2025 having car boot sales, and have raised over £1,400 and are keep going. Thank you :-)
Volunteer Ryan Beth, with Bumbles Day Care held a pumpkin patch on 17th October, raising over £2,800 in Belfast. TEECH would like to thank Patsy Maxwell of Bumbles Day Care for hosting the event, and particularly for raising the funds in aid of TEECH. Huge thanks also to all the Bumbles community for donations. Some photos are below of the fun filled event with all the children.
All funds raised will be used to support the maintenance, servicing and repairs on the lorries (which is an ongoing year round cost) and to support the Christmas trip. The Christmas trip will cost approximately £6k, to take the lorry and van (for the cost of ferry, road tolls, diesel, customs paperwork), therefore all monies donated are much appreciated.
