Annual Bathroom Project update
TEECH continues to be very busy with gathering aid, planning and then carrying out trips, getting aid to its required destination.
So far in 2025 two trips to Ukraine have been completed, one in March and one just completed in early June, delivering aid to Chernihiv, Lviv and Kamianske. These trips can’t happen without volunteer HGV drivers, therefore thanks goes to those who are volunteering and giving up their time each time.
The August project trip to Moldova is now only a few weeks away. Only a small team will be undertaking the bathroom projects this year, but all the work is still achievable. The schools require completely new floors, taking out the old wooden ones and laying tiles, with the work already started on this element, now the schools have finished for the summer holidays. The picture above shows the floor being replaced in Zaluceni and the photo on the right, the outside toilets in Iliciovca.
The charity will be purchasing two septic tanks, one for each village, in the UK, along with toilet cubicles and all sanitary ware, plumbing and electrical supplies for both schools. Any support helping to fund the projects is gratefully received.
The team will be over in the East of Moldova, in the villages of Zaluceni and Iliciovca, both in the district of Floresti, which are quite remote poorer areas, therefore are definitely in need of the support from volunteers to improve their schools.
Thanks so far goes to the following for recent donations:
