Christmas Shoeboxs
Its Christmas!
Another year has zoomed by and TEECH has completed 3 aid deliveries into Ukraine with UK Aid, and a summer project trip to Moldova, providing toilets for children in 2 villages, as well as the delivering of tonnes of aid in the form of food, clothing, medical, walking aids, wheelchairs, bikes and much more.
To finalise the year, TEECH are nearly set for the Christmas trip to Moldova, with 8 villages to be visited, providing the children in the senior and kindergarden schools with shoebox gifts. A team of 8 volunteers will carry out the trip, with 1,200+ shoeboxes to hand deliver, and over 120 food parcels, to provide to the elderly door to door. It’s a good chance for volunteers to walk off the christmas turkey!
TEECH would like to thank all those making the trip possible, including:

SKY volunteer day
TEECH would also like to thank a team of 10 from Sky near Ipswich, and Kevin Darby, who volunteered for the day in November at the TEECH store in Harwich. The team got stuck into cleaning and making good the toilet block, checking through bikes which had been donated so they are ready for 2026, and making up shoeboxes.
Thanks also goes to Barry Howe for his plumbing skills, installing a new sink on site, and helping to get the toilet block ready.
