SUMMER Project update
With only a few weeks to go until project 2014 gets underway, we would like to thank those who are helping and supporting up with supplies for the trip. Without this level of support the project would not be possible.
We would like to thank Hunter Plastics who are supporting TEECH for the first time this year. Hunter have provided alot of the pipe work required to connect the septic tank to the school building along with some of the plumbing fittings. TEECH popped along to their manufacturing base in Kent to pick up the supplies. Kirstie of Hunter is seen in the picture above. We would also like to thank Mantair of Clacton who will be once again supplying a septic tank for the project. We require two this year for the main school and kindergarden therefore getting one free is a huge bonus. We welcome support from companies in the north of England, namely Danbys providing showers and shower trays for one of the bathrooms and Bonus Electrical providing a discount on electrical supplies. Salamander Pumps have donated two pumps, allowing us to install showers into the bathrooms, which will be fantastic for the children. Probably the first showers they may have experienced. Altro Ltd are once again proving lino flooring which we can lay throughout the bathrooms to really finish them off well. And last but not least Signs Made Easy for replacing some of the stickers on the van as they had taken a bit of a battering during the winter months. We are pleased to announce that the UK Ambassador to Moldova, Phil Batson will be visiting the project to see the work of TEECH, get involved and maybe challenge the locals and volunteers to a game of football.
The next newsletter, which will be out in September, will provide an account of the project and trip.

On 16th July, Amy and Michaela Edgar are holding a bucket collection at Canary Wharf tube station (all day) so please pop along and help out if you can, or if you know folks working in the area, why not ask them to donate a few pounds.
On the 19th July at Asda, Ipswich, Hazel Girling has organised a collection therefore once again we ask for your support during the day.
