Summer project update
TEECH received unforeseen news last week, about the planned project for the volunteers this summer. The team will no longer be travelling to Grozesti. Luckily a new project and school has been identified and the team of volunteers will be travelling to the village of Bolduresti (Nisporeni District), Moldova (as seen in the photo above). The project will be of a similar nature, creating bathrooms for the children, installing toilets, sinks, urinals, hot and cold running water, hand driers along with painting and tiling. The current outdoor toilets for the school can be seen in the picture below. TEECH look forward to providing new indoors ones for the children.
We look forward to providing a full report of the trip and project in our September Newsletter.

Along the way we will also be delivering aid to Romania, to those TEECH have helped in prior years and continue to support through clothing, shoes, toys and school supplies.
Thank you to......
In last month newsletter we started to thank those who are helping and supporting this years project. Further thanks goes to the following:
Phil Batson and the Embassy team in Chisinau. The British Ambassador and his team will once again be joining us for a day whilst we are in Moldova and helping out on site.
A team from GlaxoSmithKline will also be joining us. The team worked with TEECH volunteers in 2014 and are taking time out of work to once again help.
Altro Ltd are donating lino flooring for the project, which we will use as the base for the two bathrooms.
Trade Aid - this charity pulls together boxes of specific items, for example electrical, plumbing and carpentry tools. TEECH are lucky enough to be getting a few of these boxes which can then be donated to those we work with in the village, so they can enhance their skills and trade.
South East Coaches who are lending the charity a mini bus and trailer
Hope & Aid Direct for the loan of the trailer which will haul the aid over to Moldova.
Clacton Bathroom Superstore who once again have given the charity excellent prices for all the sanitary ware required for the project.
Danby's who have provided (once again) an excellent price for the urinals required for the boys bathroom.
Derrick Potter - thanks go to Derrick who recently celebrated his 70th Birthday and donated funds to TEECH instead of receiving present from friends.
CWU who has donated over £500 to the charity from various offices around the country after BT volunteers approached them for support.
Cooperative Bank who granted TEECH £705 following an application which is being used to purchase the septic tank and water heaters.
