budiu mic
The picture above and right, shows the children of Budiu Mic in Romania enjoying the play equipment we were able to provide last year. Now winter is over they have been able to get outside, put the climbing frame and trampoline together and have some fun. Reka, the head of the school said "the kids don't want to go home any more...they are in heaven". |
Project update
We would like to thank, once again, BT Fleet for their commitment of two lorries for the August trip. Without the lorries we would not be able to take aid and all our supplies for the project and community.
We told you last month about Brewers of Romford supplying paint, we would like to extend our thanks to them once again for the quantity of paint provided.
We have been lucky enough to gain wheel chairs from a home in Felixstowe, thanks to Alan Chapman for obtaining those. We always receive requests for medical aids from Romania and Moldova therefore these will be gratefully received when we can deliver them in the summer.
We would also like to thank John McPherson for his help drawing up the layout project plans for this years trip.
Thanks John

elvis HELPS raise money!
The Elvis tribute night in aid of TEECH and Clacton Scout hall, was held on March 14th at Clacton Golf Club and organised by Theresa and Mel, who explain here a bit about it and express their thanks for the support.
The evening consisted of a three course meal with live entertainment, a raffle and an auction.
The night was a great success and enjoyed by all. This could not of happened without all the support of local businesses that donated prizes for us. We would like to say a big Thank you.
The money has enabled two volunteers to help with the project this year.
We would also like to say thank you to Graham and his staff from Clacton Golf Club as the food was amazing and they were so accommodating. We highly recommend them for any occasions!!!
