summer project 2015 update
The 2015 project, as mentioned in the February Newsletter, will be in Grozesti, Moldova in August 2015.
Preparation is well under way for the bathrooms, with a layout plan produced thanks to John McPherson and ongoing communication with the school regarding the work and commitment required by them, before the TEECH volunteer team arrive on site.
If you would like to help support the project and community then please see the updated wish list below. We would appreciate donations by the end of June to allow us time to sort and pack them therefore it is never too early to send through items.
If you would like to challenge yourself and join the team in August then click here to read further about the task ahead and then drop us a line.

Whilst in Grozesti, the charity would like to help the library which is being set up at the moment. The library will become a community centre also, therefore we have listed below items they require to improve upon the facilities.
If you are able to help spread the word about the project, please use our downloadable poster as a form of advertising.

wish list....updated
We have had a few requests for assistance this year from Romania and Moldova, therefore we are looking for the following:
If you can help and would like to transport any smaller items through BT Transport (like we do at Christmas time with the shoeboxes) then we can advise on your local drop point ([email protected])
- Good quality clothing for children and adults (please ensure clothing is good quality. We have ragged quite a bit of clothing over the last couple of years and this is very hard to get rid of).
- Books for a new library being created in Grozesti (the project village) - books in English, French, Romanian or Russian to help stock the library. Please do not send lots of English novels as we do not want to be inundated with books, but if you can find educational books this would be appreciated.
- Shelving for the library.
- Any bean bags which you can sit on (or similar) for the children to use in the library, which will also be a community centre (more on this in next months newsletter)
- Washing machine for the Kindergarden where we worked in 2014.
- Beds for a new home being set up by Ora International, the charity which supports TEECH on every trip with customs and paperwork for Moldova.
- Bed side tables - no longer required thanks to Mary Camplin obtaining 12 from a home for older people which was closing - thanks Mary
- Thanks also go to Mary for acquiring bed sheets, duvet covers and towels.

consider supporting teech through ebay
If you have had a spring clean this Easter and are selling items on eBay, then why not consider donating an element of the sales proceeds to TEECH. When you list your item for sale, choose Telecoms Eastern European Challenge when asked and the percentage you wish to donate. All small donations are much appreciated.
packing dates
There will be no packing day in April, with the next one planned for 9th May at our store in Thorndon, Suffolk.
We will soon be moving from this location and still seeking alternative options!
